Manage Security Questions

To be able to reset a forgotten password, you must be able to correctly answer the security challenge questions that you set up for your account. On the Manage Security Questions page, select your security challenge questions and save your answers. You can also delete, edit, and add new security questions/answers.

Go to Manage Security Questions

Select My Account from the menu bar, then Manage Security Questions.  

Add new question/answer

  1. If you have not already set up your security challenge questions, on the Manage Security Questions Page click Add New 
  2. A dialog box opens. You may have to scroll down to see it. Click in the Select Question field and make a selection from the list of available questions. 
  3. Enter an answer that you will remember, then enter the answer again to confirm.
  4. Click Save to save the question/answer pair to the table. 
  5. The question/answer pair is saved to the table, but is not yet saved to the system. It will not be saved to the system until the required number of questions are set up and Finalize is selected. 
  6. Repeat steps 1 - 4 until the required number of questions are set up.
  7. Select Finalize to save your setup to the system.  
  8. A message box opens. Enter your patient portal password.
  9. Select Continue.
  10. Your security challenge question setup is saved to the system. On the Manage Security Questions page your questions and answers are displayed and the Finalize button is gone.  

Delete and add new question/answer

  1. Select X to delete a question/answer pair.
  2. Select Add New to replace the deleted question/answer pair.
  3. A dialog box opens. You may have to scroll down to see it. Click in the Select Question field and make a selection from the list of available questions. 
  4. Enter an answer that you will remember, then enter the answer again to confirm.
  5. Click Save to save the question/answer pair to the table. 
  6. Select Finalize to save your setup to the system.
  7. A message box opens. Enter your patient portal password.
  8. Select Continue
  9. Your security challenge question setup is saved to the system. On the Manage Security Questions page your questions and answers are displayed and the Finalize button is gone.  

Edit answer 

  1. Select  to edit a question/answer pair. 
  2. A dialog box opens and the selected question/answer pair are displayed. You may have to scroll down to see it. Click in the Select Question field and make a selection from the list of available questions. 
  3. Enter an answer that you will remember, then enter the answer again to confirm.
  4. Click Save to save the question/answer pair to the table. 
  5. Select Finalize to save your setup to the system.
  6. A message box opens. Enter your patient portal password.
  7. Select Continue.
  8. Your security challenge question setup is saved to the system. On the Manage Security Questions page your questions and answers are displayed and the Finalize button is gone.
